Lisa
Jo Rudy, President of Explorations Unlimited,
holds a Masters degree from Harvard University. She has eighteen
years of experience in developing hands-on, interactive educational materials
for clients including The National Science Foundation, The National Geographic
Society, Scholastic Publishing, and Time, Inc. She has written extensively
on topics in education, science, and the Internet, and has over a dozen books
to her credit. In 2004, she led a panel presentation on “Welcoming Children
Who Learn Differently” at the annual Association of Science Technology
Centers conference, and authored a paper on the same topic for a major publication
of the American Association of Museums.

Peter D. Cook, videographer for Explorations Unlimited for the last
four years, also served for ten years as an Associate Professor at
Temple University.
As a technology radio and TV host on NPR and television for twelve
years, Peter honed his broadcast skills on both sides of the camera
and microphone. Since then he has filmed in a wide variety of
locations including on board ships, on land, in classrooms, on
location outdoors, sports venues, in concert halls and in studios.
He has filmed and produced wedding video, science video, business
video, history video, concert video, instructional video, news video
and sports video.
Peter uses a professional Sony video camera and a wide variety of
video production equipment. In his editing suite he has access to a
Mac Pro workstation, dual monitors, Final Cut editing software, DVD
Studio Pro, multiple types of editing decks as well as the ability to
mass produce DVD’s and CD’s. |
